Use cases

Built for real community setups

When your community outgrows a single server, the admin overhead kicks in. CloudMod takes it off your plate.

🎭

Roleplay communities

Main server for onboarding, multiple sub-servers for factions (PD, EMS, Mafia, Civ). Member role → Member on every faction server.

💎

Booster & verified

Nitro boosters or verified members on your main server automatically get their roles + channel access on every other server in your community.

🎮

Gaming networks

Game-specific sub-servers (Minecraft, Valorant, GTA RP). Your main staff team automatically becomes mods on every game server.

Features

Everything you need, nothing you don't

No feature bloat. Each function solves a concrete problem we ran into ourselves.

Visual editor

Create role rules by clicking — multi-select for several sub-roles at once. No YAML files, no bot commands.

Bidirectional sync

Main server grants a role → all sub-servers follow. Change a nickname anywhere and it propagates everywhere else.

Nickname sync

Optionally keep nicknames in sync. Per-sub-server opt-out for communities with their own naming conventions.

Audit log + auto-fix

Every role change is logged. A periodic scan finds drift and corrects it — auto-fix is per-project opt-in.

Robust by default

Loop protection, Discord rate-limit handling, persistent audit log. Keeps working when Discord hiccups.

Dry-run mode

The bot logs what it WOULD do without changing anything. Perfect for testing new mappings on production servers.

How it works

From zero to multi-server sync in 4 steps

1

Invite the bot

Click the invite link, pick your main server and all sub-servers, accept the permissions (Manage Roles + View Audit Log).

2

Log in with Discord

We only request "identify" + "guilds" — no emails, no passwords. Only servers where you're admin are visible.

3

Create a project

Wizard: pick the main server → add sub-servers → map roles. Multi-select makes it fast.

4

Sync runs

From now on: grant a role on main → sub-servers follow automatically. Watch every action in the live audit log.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The most common questions before you sign up. Looking for something specific? The full documentation is in the dashboard after login.

What does CloudMod cost?
CloudMod is completely free. There are no paid tiers, no plan limits, no hidden fees. If you like the project, you can voluntarily support development on Ko-fi — but it's not required.
How does the sync work?
You designate a main server and connect any number of sub-servers. Then you define mappings: which role on the main server triggers which role on which sub-server. As soon as someone gets or loses a role on the main server, the same happens automatically on every connected server.
Which roles get synced?
Only the ones you explicitly configure in your mappings. CloudMod never touches roles that aren't in your mapping — no @everyone, no bot roles, no server booster role, no other automatically managed Discord roles.
How secure is my data?
CloudMod runs on EU servers and is GDPR-compliant. We only store server and role IDs plus sync events for your audit log. We do NOT read or store messages or personal member data. Discord OAuth tokens are AES-GCM encrypted at rest.
What happens when a member leaves a server?
If someone leaves a sub-server with a configured anchor role, the linked main-server role is removed and propagates to all other sub-servers. If someone leaves the main server, all synced roles are removed everywhere. Member lists stay consistent.
Can I test before going live?
Yes. Enable dry-run mode in your project settings. CloudMod logs what it WOULD do — without actually changing any roles. Once everything looks right, turn dry-run off and go live.
